Our History
Lee Thaxton, our RV Armor President, is a third generation roofing contractor who attributes his expertise, specifically his knowledge in regards to waterproofing and leak prevention, to his grandfather who started Thaxton Roofing in Ohio, which is still going strong. Lee took the knowledge and experience he gained working for the family business and applied it to his love of RVs.
Our Founder – An RV Enthusiast
As an RV enthusiast himself, Lee understood how much of a nuisance (and safety risk) it is to climb on top of your RV roof to do maintenance. It was his goal to make RV roofs maintenance free that led to the creation of RV Armor. Although the RV Armor business started out of Florida, it has grown into a nationwide network, allowing RV Armor to be installed anywhere in the continental U.S.
